Was going to do my usual LAN-Gaming-while GF-is-playing-mahjong kind of friday at a friend’s place last saturday in the evening.
So day time i was hitting balls at the range with some of the boys when one of them came up to me with his phone.
E: “Hey W’s looking for you”
Me: What does he want? why look for me on your phone?
Anyway i answered the phone. When i knew it was W, i know what was up. He wants to borrow some stuff. DEFINITELY.
W: Hey called you on your phone, you didnt pick up.
Anyway just abit of small talk. then he dropped the question of borrowing a guitar. Since i have one, so I ok-ed him.
Point of this post is that
- I have not seen W for a while, since chinese new year.
- about 80-90% of the time, when i see him, it was because there was a pretext of borrowing stuff
It is quite a bastard thing to do where you show up because you need to borrow something, be it for your other friends or whatever. Even other people knows the purpose of your calls even before I picked it up.
Hey man, humor me. Lets meet up for games/food/drinks. Don’t come to me just only when you need stuff/help.

After not hearing them on the radio after they were mysteriously sacked, they are back…..on PODCAST.

Its been kind of a boring drive to work since they were off the air. I even switch to 九三三 933FM for a change. Until i chanced upon this!!
Hilarious. Its a gem. Gotta get it!
After a sunday wedding, anticipating a late night on sunday, a few of us took leave on Monday to rest.
Ended up no rest. Instead we went out of the country.
Batam was tossed around for quite awhile. Until the very last minute, we decided the ferry tickets was a bit steep just for a lazy day of walk around.
So what to do? Go JB loh.
Hearing from my friend that the KFC there was much nicer than Singapore’s. I had a sense of anticipation to try out the deep fried chix man!!
BUt abit disappointing though. I thought it was on par as Singapore’s. My friend said that branch not very nice. hmm….
anyway nothing much to shop, except for food and eehhhhh DVDs. Food is much cheaper, and i think groceries too.
However for work clothings and shoes, maybe stick to Singapore lah. About same price……
And i witnessed the car shaking maneuver while pumping petrol. Not a very pretty sight. *shakes head*
watching discovery channel’s Time Warp now. This show shows the 2 presenter trying out lawn mowers, somersaults etc. But it seems the show consist mostly breaking of stuff.
they then play back the recorded events in super slow mo.
Must say it looks impressive where they slow-mo play back the destruction they created.
But kind of lame where it does not serve much purpose other than viewing the destruction slow-mo.
pointless show…..but i m still watching it.

it has been a week back at work after 2 weeks away for ICT.
although to the authorities, the team was making progress. In the way of sending out emails to arrange for discussion as a milestone. But from what i see, there does not seem to be much progress, as we did not close much of the ongoing work.
It seems some of the stuff are there as it were 2 weeks ago.
Its not that the team is not doing work. But probably seems like lots of chef wants to cook together, making it difficult to progress instead.
to have a proper shower after 2 days in the dirt.
Never mind it is just 2 days only. It felt like a week or so. Too pampered. Not to mention i felt very lethargic just after the 1st day. Getting my boots does not help too, after getting into the water shortly after the the outfield training started.
It was only after 24hrs then we reached a place where we could take out the boots and hang out our legs for the night.
We were being served fresh ration for our meals daily. But in these 2 days, for lunch and dinner, we were being served chicken wings constantly, just prepared in different sauces.
Seriously tried of chicken wings man!! The food provider seems to only know how to prepare chicken wings.
But am glad that the trainings is sort of over. I can enjoy a proper shower and bed…..beautiful

Time of the year is here.
To pay my car insurance and road tax.
And to fill in my tax returns, so that i may pay my income tax.
Oh yes and some traffic fines to pay as well…..grrr.
