after about 5 days of no work days, it was a pain getting back to the grind. last tuesday and wednesday didnt help as i had orientation. yet another switch-off event, which i totally off after half day each.
labor day holiday didnt help at all. come tuesday, i had a hard time getting thru the day. thankfully work didnt come hard at me. some breathing space helps.
after weeks of boring work(data entry), coming up workload looks more interesting, more challenging.
hope its not too challenging…
exercise cut!
This is something very welcoming when you are in the army. It signals the end of your wayang in the bushes, beach, water whatever.
However if a project CUT, and not complete. Its no good. Not when the people have put in so much effort.
But it has already happened. For me I don’t feel it as much as the other guys do. They have been there since start of year. Whereas I have been here for about a month only.
Oh well, pick up the pieces and move on.
i feel i think that my quest for that one ring has to be starting soon. I need to learn the Cs of choosing a shiny rock. I need to put on my brains to choose designs and patterns.
I do not want to end up getting this for her.

with no work beckoning this weekend, of course its a good weekend. Although I am fine with work on weekends, but there are some things are just feels silly doing it, and not to say doing it over the weekend.
But the worst of those is probably over. So it will probably turn out better over these few days at work(I hope)
I found out that i broke something that worked. Not that it was irreversible(just a small change infacet)but the project is at a quite critical and fragile stage, and if anything went wrong, the client might just drop the project altogether.
I felt rather bad when i knew it but thankfully nothing big happened because of this screw up.
I just had to grit my teeth, try to look forward, instead of pondering of such screw ups in anywhere of my life.

few months ago, i had a job offer from a small firm doing CRM software development/project management. Its small but it seems to be a place where i could pick up new skills. It was something that i wanted to do.
But i did not. Instead, I gave myself time.
Few months from then, I am feeling bored of my current role.
Why didn’t i take that up. or am i that patient to wait for things to happen. Damn it.
Ironman is GOOD. Go watch and multiply.
But there are nothing for you to turn you on in the movie though. But still. GOOD.
Injecting humour now and then in the movie. It gives it a balance both for boys and girls. It seems that Robert Downey Jr takes into his role naturally as the rich genius Tony Stark. Such a genius that he can create an energy device in just few months in a cave, while his scientists still can create the same thing in their labs for decades. It makes the scientist look like high school kids
This movie just make any boy want to go out and own an Ironman DVD or an ironman figurine. It makes you wanna go be a Tony Starks, getting in MIT by age……

I am up at almost 3am, remote desktopping to my office terminal to do up some testing. !@#$%. I want silk underwear!!! not silk performer!!!! damn it.
I have not blogged in a while, and all i got is some potential post of angst. oh well…..
these past 2 days, my ears have not been feeling fine. one of it feels muffled. It has got me quite worried. if it does not subside within the next day, i shall go to the clinic.
But even with a problematic ear, i can hear unhappiness towards the higher order among the common people. Probable causes are how the aftermath of the Mas Selemat is being handled and with Temesak’s recent investment into troubled banks causing huge losses
ok fine so i read, instead of hear. but hey you get the point lah. If there is call for an election the next week. I believe heads might roll. Blogs have been calling out for million dollar style accountabilty for mistakes by million dollar ministar(s).
For me, i am quietly sitting around with a lack of empathy for all things political, observing how one shoots itself in the foot repeatedly.
